If I heard the news correctly, many of the big cities on both coasts are experiencing negative population flow which has reduced their respective tax basis. We have the opposite problem where I live. Too many people moving in too fast. Parkinson's (btw, I like the god name that you gave it) treats us like runners. Some people are sprinters and some are marathoners. Both require endurance. In the end, we all experience the same symptoms. Mine are just in slow motion. My next post will have more about the last 17 years. I probably could have just written the word "slog" to describe it but what fun would that be.

Fascinating and a good read. I heard from a friend in Seattle recently that she and the school board have had to close down Seattle School for Boys.. She did not say why but I read that the state are cutting funding to public schools because of the huge drop in attendance since covid. I guess this is nationwide? It's become an issue in England too. You've been living with Parkinson's for 17 years - did i get my sums right? That's a long time - I'm a little humbled by that and wondering why I'm making such a ruckus about mine after just 3 years.
